Attorney William T. Bly is a graduate of Rutgers College where he majored in Political Science with a minor in U.S. History. Attorney Bly attended and graduated the University of Maine School of Law. During his time in law school, Attorney Bly focused on criminal defense. Attorney Bly worked at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office in Portland Maine as an intern prosecutor. During that time, Attorney Bly learned the “ins and outs” of criminal prosecution in Maine. This experience provided a solid background when he graduated law school and formed a law firm with Attorney Chris A. Nielsen.

Attorney Chris A. Nielsen, a founding partner of Nielsen & Bly, is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. As an undergraduate, Mr. Nielsen attended school at Siena College and the State University of New York at Plattsburgh where he graduated with honors. While at SUNY Plattsburgh, Mr. Nielsen successfully completed two prestigious internships with the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office and with the New York State Senate for the 62nd District.

Melissa Pawloski graduated cum laude from the University of Southern Maine School of Law in 2008 where she was the recipient of the Peter Wiley Scholarship and awarded a Pro Bono Publico Award for significant pro bono legal service during law school. While at Maine Law, she was chosen as a member of the Advanced Trial Team and practiced as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Ms. Pawloski also worked as a legal intern at a criminal defense firm while attending Maine School of Law. In 2004, Ms. Pawloski received, with honors, an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from the University of Southern Maine. While working toward her degree, Ms. Pawloski worked for the student body as an events coordinator, was a member of the debate team where she was a Raisin Convention Competition Debate Winner in Improvisation and received first place in a college-wide sponsor essay contest on environmental sustainability. |
